In Bar tÿpo, in addition to the soul, the body is nourished. Tÿpo's warm grilled breads provide energy for a long evening. A delicious soup lunch is served with the day's toppings and bread on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 15 p.m.
Kitchen opening hours may vary depending on availability. For late nights, you can always find something to snack on at the bar. Ask more at the bar counter!

About us
Bar tÿpo will soon be a year old meeting place in the heart of Kallio. Tÿpo is a place that looks and feels like its people. At Tÿpo, we dare to try new things and give others the opportunity to do the same. Bar tÿpo wants to be your favorite bar, living room and stage. Come and enjoy evening tea, free concerts or organize the event of your dreams with us.
Bar tÿpo invites you into Text's house. The city's most interesting bookstore PP also operates on the same floor.

Premises
Bar tÿpo is a colorful and bold space that invites you to get excited and have fun. The versatile bar is like a living room full of music, life, emotions and friendship. In connection with the bar, two event halls, Permanto and Parvi, and a cabinet for 20 people are available by reservation. There is also a sound-proofed open work space connected to the bar, which does not require a separate reservation. Bar tÿpo is a maximalist tabula rasa where it is possible to realize your dreams.

Bar tÿpo
Bar tÿpo, which serves as the lobby bar of Tekti's house, acts as a platform for artists and cultural artists. At the bar, you can be surprised by a varied and versatile program every week. DJs play in the tÿpo every weekend and from time to time the bar transforms from a listening space to a dance floor. There is always free access to the bar and the events organized in the bar. You can propose a program to our event producer program@bartypo.fi
Floor
The Permantosali of the text house is a versatile event space on the first floor right behind the bar. Many cultural events are organized in Permantosal, such as clubs, concerts, parties, lectures and seminars. Sometimes the space transforms into an electronic music club space, tÿpo in Romani. Permantosali is a serving area and you can also rent it for your own events. The capacity of the Permanto hall is 100 people.
Loft
The Parvisali on the sixth floor is a well-equipped theater space that can be used for performances, parties and other public events. For half of the year Parvisali serves as the stage of the performing arts house Mad House Helsinki.

Cabinet
The 20-person cabinet connected to the bar is well suited for smaller events, meetings and trainings. If you wish, you can order food from the bar in the cabinet.
The room is also well suited for, for example, reading circles, where the participants can buy their own drinks at the restaurant's counter.
Principles of a safer space
