The event brings together anthropologists from the University of Helsinki, the University of Eastern Finland, the University of Chicago, and the University of Tampere for a discussion of the two books and their key themes.
The evening will include presentations of the books, academic commentaries, a comment by an interlocutor and discussion with the audience. The event is intended to facilitate exchange among researchers and wider audiences interested in anthropology, migration, colonialism, and care.
