Join Jaranas del Norte, Ku’um collective, Tekstin talo, and Bar tÿpo for an evening of son jarocho music, dance, food and community.
Tekstin Taco, created by Ku’um collective, is a monthly pop-up restaurant at Bar tÿpo.
It explores connections between Mesoamerican and Nordic traditions through corn-based cuisine.
Food and music join together in the fandango hosted by Jaranas del Norte.
The fandango is a communal practice, rooted in the son jarocho tradition of Veracruz, where everyone is encouraged to take part–playing, dancing, signing, shouting or simply being present.
Bring your hunger for new flavours, a musical instrument that can be your voice, or just your dancing shoes and join us at the tarima!
This is the last Tekstin Taco before summer break.
